Giants’ Umenyiora hit with fine after skipping out on media

The NFL fined New York Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora $ 20,000 for failing to participate in Wednesday’s mandatory 45-minute news media interview session at the Giants’ hotel Wednesday morning, a league source told NFL Network’s Albert Breer.
